EASTER WEEK ACTIVITIES:
Sunday, April 10th, 10:00 a.m.: Palm Sunday
Thursday, April 17th, 6:30 p.m.: Maundy Thursday Communion Service in the Sanctuary
Friday, April 18th, 12:00 Noon: Friday at the Cross outside
Easter Sunday, April 20th: Flowering of the Cross outside prior to worship
Easter Sunday, April 20th, 10:00: Worship celebrating the Resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ
BLESSING BOX:
The Blessing Box is placed at the front of the church. Contributions may be placed in the basket in the Narthex. Please think about adding items to your shopping cart each week. The box is being well used by those in need. The most popular items are tuna and chicken salad packets, potted meats and any protein items with pop tops. Personal hygiene items such as toothbrushes and travel size toiletries are also needed.
SPECIAL PRAYER CONCERNS:
May God bless the leaders of our country as they work to solve the serious issues facing our nation. We continue our fervent prayers to our one omnipotent God to bring our nation together as we face many challenges. Only God knows the plan for all of us and only in prayer can we seek the answers to the plan he has for us.
Keep those facing challenges in life in prayer for find the way to Christ and feel his love and hope. We ask for our Heavenly Father and his son, Jesus Christ, to grant peace and comfort to those that are grieving or facing anxiety.
Our church family is growing and we are grateful to see God’s church at work in so many ways. As we continue God’s work, keep our Church in prayer to find ways to continue to share our love and caring to others. Please remember those serving in church leadership for strength and courage as they guide our OTPC congregation into the future.
